How We Built India’s First Truly Field-Ready Clay Brick Machine

Our Story: From a Small Town to Nationwide Impact
At PowerAgro Industries, our journey began in a small town — Khatauli, a district in Muzaffarnagar, India.
With limited resources but a clear vision, we set out to create something that truly works for Indian farmers.
That vision turned into reality — a tractor-operated clay brick making machine, built specifically for Indian soil, weather, and working conditions.
We are not a large corporation, nor do we have external investment.
What we have is determination, patience, and a strong belief in our craft.
“We started small, failed often, learned fast — and never gave up. As the famous saying goes, ‘If you want to take the island, then burn your boats.’”
After years of trials, redesigns, and continuous improvements, our machine now stands field-proven, with 1,000+ units successfully running across India.
Even today, we keep refining our machines every year — improving performance, productivity, and durability based on real-world user feedback.
Because at PowerAgro, perfection is a process — not a destination.
Built for Real Indian Conditions
Before our machines, brick-making was a physically demanding and time-sensitive process done manually.
The short working season made it even harder for labourers to produce enough bricks for the entire year.
To solve this, we designed a machine that runs directly through the PTO shaft of a tractor — requiring no electricity and no fixed foundation.
Machine Models & Capacity
- Double Die: 4,000 – 6,000 bricks/hour (55 HP and above)
- Triple Die: 7,000 – 10,000 bricks/hour (55 HP and above)
- Five Die: 12,000 – 14,000 bricks/hour (65 HP and above)
Key Benefits
- Heavy-duty Made-in-India construction for long life
- Hydraulic compression for uniform brick quality
- Portable, field-ready design – no foundation required
- Easy maintenance and local spare parts availability
- Designed to perform reliably in dust, heat, and harsh soil
The Science Behind Perfect Clay Bricks
Behind every strong brick lies a perfect balance of soil and moisture.
- Clay with 18–25% moisture becomes plastic-like and ideal for molding.
- If the clay is too dry, it cracks under pressure.
- If it is too wet, it sticks to the die and loses shape.
We train bhatta owners (भट्टा मालिक) and operators to test the clay mix by touch — ensuring that every batch of bricks comes out perfect.
Once mixed, the clay passes through our compression chamber with the help of an auger and hydraulic system, forming uniformly compacted bricks.
After molding, the bricks are air-dried, where natural heat transforms them into strong, weather-resistant materials ready for construction.
